CITY OF RALEIGH
Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch included.

The City of Raleigh is embarking on a new branding project.  Without a logo and their city seal has about 25 different variations, so they put out an RFP to get help with unifying their internal and external messaging and to help them put their city seal to rest.  Featured speaker will be Raleigh’s Creative Director Jorge Gao, who’ll talk about why Raleigh needed a brand, where they are now, and what to expect from this process. Open discussion at the end to answer questions the audience has about branding, including the technical and creative aspects of it.

Location HAS CHANGED:
Garner Police Station training room, 912 7th Avenue, Garner

It's not far off of U.S. 70 (which is South Saunders coming from Raleigh). You can Google map it, but basically it's U.S. 70 to Vandora Springs Road, go south on Vandora Springs about a quarter mile then left on 7th Ave. It's about 10 minutes from downtown Raleigh and is easily accessible from Interstate 40.
